I am Leena G Pillai, Assistant Professor at Sree Saraswathii Thyagaraja College, Pollachi, Tamil Nadu, with a passion for speech and language technologies. I was awarded a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Kerala under the guidance of Dr. D. Muhammad Noorul Mubarak, for my research on "Acoustic and Articulatory Evaluation of Speech Signals Using Machine Learning Techniques." 

With seven years of teaching experience, I love sharing knowledge and mentoring students. With three years of experience as Research Scientist at Digital University Kerala I have had the opportunity to guide many interns in Natural Language Processing (NLP), working on projects related to transliteration, translation, and automatic speech recognition.

My research focuses on making speech and language technology more accessible. I have worked on speech recognition for low-resource languages, developing AI models for transliteration, and studying speech articulation patterns.

I love to actively participate in research conferences, academic events, and workshops, contributing to the growth of AI and NLP. I also enjoy collaborating with researchers and students who share my interest in language technology.
